Kelly Steagall

Kelly grew up in Southern California and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University.  Early in her nursing career, she discovered a strong passion for pediatrics and returned to CSULB to complete her Master of Science in Nursing along with her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification.  During her training, she worked at a local children’s hospital, where she enjoyed caring for pediatric patients but desired to build deeper, long-term relationships with children and their families.  This led her to pursue outpatient pediatric care, which proved to be an ideal fit.

Kelly has a strong appreciation for continuity of care, watching her patients grow over time, and is deeply interested in how integrative and traditional medicine work together to support children’s health.  She values strong partnerships with parents and strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where families feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their concerns. She is especially passionate about educating and empowering parents to make informed, confident decisions for their families. Kelly is particularly adept at helping families navigate allergies, eczema, asthma, international adoption, and homeschooling.  She has a special soft spot for new moms, and children from toddler-early school!

During her years in practice, she has met many homeschooling families and knew it was a path she wanted for her own family.  Kelly and her husband have four internationally adopted and homeschooled children!

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and three cats. She loves being outdoors—especially hiking and visiting the Oregon coast—and enjoys gardening, baking, and fostering sick or under socialized cats in her spare time.
