Mallory Johnson

CPNP-PC

Mallory Johnson

Mallory has spent the past 18 years in pediatrics. She began her journey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland where she went on to work in pediatrics at Emanuel hospital, now known as Randall’s. During this time she realized her love and desire to work with kids and a frustration at only being able to work with them for their short hospital stay. She wanted to develop a relationship with her patients and their families as well as watch them grow. She went on to complete a Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado Health science center as a pediatric nurse practitioner. While working in the outpatient setting and finding a passion for preventative medicine, Mallory sought to increase her knowledge on natural/holistic and root cause changes to help create a balance so as not to chase the disease, but try to prevent the development of a chronic problem. This includes creating healthy bodies through a strong immune system with diet/nutrition, movement and reduction of environmental toxins as integral parts of wellness and growth. She is happy to continue this work as a co-owner at NW Pediatrics Integrative Medicine.

Mallory is originally from the pacific NW and grew up in a large family. She is currently married with two energetic boys. Becoming a mother brought with in an increased understanding and skill while working with the pediatric population. Her family enjoys being active, whether venturing out for a hike, a day a the beach or playing sports with her kids. At home she enjoys cooking and creating new recipes as well as traveling with her family and trying out new restaurants.

Mallory continues to discover the uniqueness of her patient families who bring their own ideas and mindset as to what medicine looks like for them and works hard to create an environment that welcomes collaboration.
