Marissa graduated from UT Health San Antonio with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience working with diverse populations, including autism, down syndrome, and fragile infants. She is passionate about assessing and treating both early language issues, speech-sound and/or fluency disorders, feeding and oral motor concerns, and receptive and expressive language delays.  She loves teaching children how to read and is deeply moved by the excitement of children when they make strides towards their goals!  She is adept at assessing tongue/lip tie, helping those with this condition with exercises to improve the condition, as well as assisting patients who have tongue-tie related feeding difficulties. With her fun and caring attitude, Marissa makes a positive impact on the lives of her clients and caregivers! During her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
